Special Dedication:

It is with sadness that I also include a dedication to the late Randolph J. Corradino, my online friend and associate. RJ, as I knew him, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2000 -- a few months shy of his twenty-first birthday -- from complications of spinal muscular atrophy, a form of multiple dystrophy (MD).
RJ and I would take breaks from our writing, meeting in an online chat room to watch the occasional television program "together." Acknowledgement goes to RJ for his assistance in verifying my search logic and his other help with Chapter 7. (He was my sounding board, unselfishly "listening" as I copied and pasted lines of text for him to read so that I could get his opinion. Plus, he exhibited one of the best qualities anyone could ever find in a friend: He would always laugh at my jokes.)
It is with pride, and with his parents' blessing, that I will continue to maintain RJ's poetry Web site. His MD page remains online at www.ricehahn.com/resource/md.html as well.
